Why is this test for you?
Our test not only means guaranteeing the safety of the developing fetus but also offers you the chance to establish the biological father at only 11 weeks following the first day of your last menstrual cycle.
The wellbeing of you and your baby is priceless. Invasive tests like amniocentesis can lead to serious complications and even miscarriage. Why take this risk? Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing is the ultimate method of confirming the paternity of an unborn baby because of its 0% risk and here are yet more reasons why:
Our prenatal paternity DNA test uses only blood samples – Yes, all we need to extract the unborn child’s DNA is a sample of blood from the mother. The samples for the alleged father are collected using simple mouth swabs.
A risk free prenatal paternity is the better choice because:
- It can be done earlier in pregnancy than amniocentesis
- Totally safe for the mother and the baby
- It is done without the assistance of an obstetrician/gynecologist
- With 99.9% accuracy
Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing: more info
Our non-invasive prenatal paternity test starts from just €1095. You will have your results in only 7 to 10 working days following sample receipt at the laboratory. Thanks to our extensive analysis of over 300,000 single nucleotide polymorphism we are able to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. If the alleged, tested father is the biological father of the fetus, we will confirm it with a probability of paternity of 99.9% or higher. If the alleged father is not the biological father, we will issue a result showing a 0% probability of paternity. Remember the test cannot be done before 9 weeks starting from your last menstrual cycle. You can use our pregnancy calculator to work out your dates.
The only time we cannot conduct the test is if the Mother is expecting twins or if the alleged Fathers are close blood relatives.
A quick and easy sample collection process
Our kit is all you need to collect your samples. Once you have received the kit, you simply need to get in touch with somebody qualified to collect the blood samples and organize an appointment. The sample collection takes just a couple of minutes and you will have everything, including sterile tubes in which to collect the blood. Blood samples are needed from the mother. The father’s samples are collected using sterile mouth swabs. Mouth swab samples can be collected by the test participants themselves following the instructions inside the kit.
Once samples are collected and consent forms filled in, you have a pre-paid courier service to return your samples. These will reach our lab in a couple of working days and once received, you will be notified of your due date.
*The date of conception is rather hard to determine with accuracy but it is assumed to be somewhere around 14 days following your last menstrual cycle. If you have had in-vitro fertilization you will know your exact date of conception – otherwise it is rather difficult. Our test is done at 9 weeks of conception (this means you will be in your 11th week of pregnancy, starting from the first day of your last menstrual period).
