Home Paternity testing in Ireland for Peace of Mind - starting from only €220

Many clients just have a suspicion regarding paternity but do not want to take matters further.  In this case, we recommend a home paternity DNA test which will secure your peace of mind. The paternity test can be performed without the sample of the mother although we recommend the inclusion of the mother’s sample when available. In cases where we are given the mother’s samples, the result will provide an inclusion of paternity which will be 99.999%+. When the test is motherless, the percentage for inclusion is just slightly lower and will normally be 99.9+%. Both the test with mother or motherless provides the necessary accuracy to resolve any doubts.

Please note that the home paternity test cannot be used for legal or court admissible purposes since the sample collection is not performed by following the chain of custody procedure required to ensure the identity of the samples being tested.

How the Test Works

The scientists in our partnered laboratories take 16 loci on your DNA to conclude the paternity test. A locus is a location on the DNA molecule. They compare the 16 loci between the alleged father and child and where available the mother. If the alleged father is the father’s true biological child, then the father’s loci and the child’s loci will match. If there are loci which do not match then the result will be exclusion.
